Litter picking on the coastal path
The Friends of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path have received grant aid support from Keep Wales Tidy to develop a litter picking programme.
The 'Friends' have received grant aid support to develop a litter picking programme along the coastal path and connecting beaches. It is hoped that an event will be organised every other month throughout 2009. Anyone is welcome to attend. You may attend up to three litter picks, after which the group asks that you become a member of the Friends.
We would very much welcome more volunteer support for our litter picks; there is a great deal of satisfaction when a beach/coastal path is clean and litter free. For details of litter picks, ring Wenda on 01407 860175 or Carolyn on 01407 860796, or see the details below.
Litter picking equipment, gloves and bags will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing and bring refreshments.
