Oriel Kyffin Williams

This gallery is a fitting tribute to one of Wales’ most celebrated and respected artists. Sir Kyffin Williams generously donated over 400 original works of art to Oriel Ynys Môn, ranging from sketches to drawings to major oils.

The gallery prides itself on this large and important collection which it holds for the benefit of the people of Anglesey and its visitors. The exhibitions range from Oriel Ynys Môn’s own collection to works borrowed from institutions and individuals.

An exhibition of portraits painted by Kyffin Williams from the Oriel’s collection, private collections and major institutions including the National Library of Wales, National Museum of Wales, The National Portrait Gallery and the Southbank Centre in London.

This is an unique opportunity to see paintings from the Oriel collection and especially work held in private collections that have never before been publicly exhibited.

Kyffin Williams Prints

Twelve prints, selected from the original works donated to Oriel Ynys Môn by Sir Kyffin Williams himself have been produced by Curwen Press, Cambridge are on sale at Oriel Ynys Môn.

Each print has a limited edition run of 350, and have been individually signed by the artist - an unique opportunity for art lovers and collectors to acquire examples of Sir Kyffin Williams’ work.

Kyffin Williams Book

A special book, ‘Kyffin’, has been produced to commemorate the opening of Oriel Kyffin Williams. The book is filled with images from Oriel Ynys Môn’s own collection as well as a number of oil paintings, some of them considered to be amongst his very best work. The book is for sale in Jac Do - the Oriel shop.
